Monrovia-May 14, 2024-The Management of the National Lottery Authority of Liberia (NLA) has warned under-aged and school going children against playing any GAME OF CHANCE or Gamble in Liberia.
National Lottery Authority of Liberia (NLA) regulates all Game of Chance or Gambling Business in Liberia and issues Licenses and Permits to Casinos, Sports Betting, Raffle Draw, Scratch-and-win, Slot Machines and other games.
NLA’s Management is currently enforcing strong Policy Measures to prevent under-aged and school going children from participating in all gambling activities in the country.
The Lottery office and Liberia National Police will arrest all gaming or gambling operators and close their offices or business places down if they allow any under-aged and school going child to participate in any form of gambling business.
We urged Parents/Guidance and Community Leaders to also monitor and take actions if anything of such nature occurs in their homes and communities, NLA release stated.
NLA’s Management encourages sound and responsible gaming and gambling business in the industry void of manipulation and fraud.
