NLA identifies with Leprosy, TB Patients and Physically challenged persons in Nimba.

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) Department of Social Welfare, during the weekend, donated assorted food items to the Ganta Rehabilitation Center and Nimba Disabled Association in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.

Assorted food items including Rice, Oil and Vita were part of NLA’s efforts to provide care for persons living with Leprosy, Tuberculosis at the Ganta Rehabilitation Center and Nimba Disabled Association based in Sanniquellie City.

Speaking during the donation at the Ganta Rehabilitation Center and Nimba Disabled Center in Sanniquellie, NLA’s Deputy Director General for Administration, Hon. Ennish Lamie Fahnbulleh assured the Authority’s commitment of continuously instituting appropriate programs to improve the wellbeing of the physically challenged across Liberia.

Hon. Fahnbulleh noted that the ARREST Agenda of the governing Unity Party and its alliances under President Joseph Nyuma Boakai cuts across every facet of society and NLA, as part of its responsibilities, will ensure significant improvements in the lives of those believed to be below the economic ladder.

He, however, lauded NLA Director General, Hon. Reginald K. Nagbe for the opportunity given him to present the assorted items to beneficiaries in Nimba County noting, it’s always important to identify with the needy in society.

For their part, beneficiaries of the National Lottery Authority gesture, in jubilant mood, shower praises at the Authority for always identifying with them not only with food items, but, medical utensils, farming implements and educational programs.
